Written by Best On The Coast

One of the strong themes that have emerged from the members of Best on the Coast is that they really want to know more about each other so they can look at developing relationships and assisting each other to grow business.

So with this in mind, we have begun holding fortnightly Meet the Members events where existing and prospective members of Best on the Coast can come along to another member’s business and find out more about them, their products and services and what makes them Best on the Coast.

The first of these events was hosted by Syd Shilling and the team at Sunquest Industries in Main Drive, Warana on Thursday, 25th of March. 

The evening was a great hit with all who attended, with Syd (who is known to enjoy a glass of red) putting on an excellent spread to ensure no one went hungry or thirsty.  The format of the night included a welcome by Syd, a short presentation about Best on the Coast and what’s happening, and then some very fruitful networking amongst all present (perhaps lubricated a little by Syd’s hospitality).

The evening concluded with a tour of the Sunquest factory to educate those present on the wide range of incredible products and services the team produces.  This was incredibly interesting and the feedback was that most people didn’t really understand some of the types of work that Syd and his team were capable of producing.  The other thing that became incredibly clear was Syd’s passion for his industry and intense pride in what they are able to provide their clients.

Once again thanks to Syd and Sunquest Industries for a most enjoyable and informative evening.

Our next Meet the Members event will be at the offices of Professional Investment Services, Sunshine Coast and will be hosted by Michael Goodwin and his team.
